Captain The Hon Ronald Fulke Greville died on 5th April from pneumonia following an operation on 31st March for cancer of the larynx. This letter was sent to his widow, Margaret Greville. Written on headed writing paper from Warfiled Park, Bracknell. No date Dearest Maggie, Arthur and I are so truly grieved at this dreadful news about poor Captain Ronnie, which seems too sudden and terrible to realize! We both feel for you more than I can say. It is too dreadful to think of such a loss as your’s and of the horrible shock to you, and I can only send you Arthur’s and my deepest deepest sympathy dear Maggie.
