Summary
Gentleman's plum coloured velvet smoking jacket with a silk braid frog and toggle fastening and details on the cuffs. The collar and cuffs are in plum coloured sating with braid edging the collar. The jacket is lined throughout in navy satin.
Provenance
First belonged to Lord Windlesham (1903-1962), the donor's father; then passed to her husband Peter Elwes (born 1929).
