Their country residence was Schlenderhan, Bergheim, a handsome villa with a celebrated stud farm. In WW1 it became a convalescence home. Their villa in Cologne, 'Thurmchen'. was where Flossy entertained prominent figures from commerce, aristocrats, diplomats and their wide spread family.
