Full description
A group of five gentle stand on the steps in front of a carved door. Captain the Hon. Ronald Henry Fulke Greville (1864-1908) is standing far right. Lord George Gordon-Lennox is not present; he died in 1877. The estate belonged to his wife, Minnie Augusta, until her death in 1913. Lady Minnie was the widow of Edwin Adolphus Cook, her first husband, whose family owned the estate for generations. Lord and Lady Gordon-Lennox were long standing friends of Ronald and Margaret Greville
