Summary
A gilded skeleton clock with a white marble base, gilded barrel style feet. Putti decoration to canted corners.Drinking scene to front, dogs (hunting dogs) to side. Beaded decoration to the edge. Inverted Y-shaped plates decoratively cast and all the brass work is “Merc Dore”. Mercury Gilded. Pinwheel escapement with large angle of impulse to the pallets.Sun King style pendule Pendulum. Fusee clock with the skeletonised main spring barrel separate to the plates and bolted through the base. Large great wheel to fusee six crossings. Large centre wheel six crossings. Third and escape wheel five crossings..Under a replacement dome and base.
