Summary
A mahogany writing table, English, 20th century, in 18th century style. The rectangular top with reeded edge and drop-leaves to its ends above a frieze fitted with a central drawer above a kneehole with decorative spandrels, flanked to either side by two short drawers. All cockbeaded and fitted with brass handles. The frieze to the other side fitted with false drawer fronts. Raised on a base of two turned end supports on downswept feet fitted with brass paw-cast caps and castors, joined by two central stretchers turned with multiple rings.
