Summary
A formal photograph of the Royal family which was used as a Christmas greeting card. The family are seated closely together. King George on the left is behind Princess Elizabeth and is gently holding her right forearm, which is bent. The princesses' left hand is tucked into Queen Elizabeth's bent elbow. The Queen has Princess Margaret tucked under her left shoulder, and is holding her waist and her left hand. The ladies are wearing pale dresses,the Queen's is silky, she has pearl earrings, a two stand pearl necklace with a pendant on the longer strand. The King wears an three piece suit.
