Photograph, 'A Corner of the Political Football Field of Bradford' : Captain the Hon. Ronald Henry Fulke Greville (1864-1908) by W. H. Plews (photographer) Bradford. A photograph of a political satire of Ronald Greville Ronald Greville was the Conservative candidate for East Bradford in 1896. He won a hard-fought election against Liberal Alfred Billson and Labour candidate Keir Hardie. The cartoon shows the candidates fighting it out on the football field. The sketch to the left shows Ronald victorious at the top while the other two candidates attempt to climb the pole.
