Full description
A group of 16 people are informally grouped on the South Terrace looking towards the photographer. Hassanein Bey, Sir Hedworth Williamson, Shahin Pasha, Countess of Ilchester, Mohamed Mahmoud Pasha, Sir Horace Rumbold, Earl of Inchscape, Countess of Wilton, Lady Lavinia Annaly, Lord Annaly, Mr Colin Davidson. Lord Alistaire Innes-Kerr, His Majesty King Faud of Egypt, Margaret Greville, Marchioness of Carisbrooke, Lady Ethelred Rumbold. At the bottom of this photograph is written the names of Margaret Greville's guests and the photographer. They do not reflect the order in which they are standing. In the Dinner Party book for Polesden Lacey there is a list for all who dined and the menu they were served. The titles used above is as they are listed in this book. Each guest also signed the Visitor Book.
