Balfour is wearing a dark , double lapelled jacket, waist coat, white shirt and short tie tucked under his collar. He is hatless and his hair is ruffled, he is looking downwards to the left. Signed: With warm regards from A. J. B. Vandyke. London is embossed on the left, under the photograph, on the mount. Arthur James Balfour, later Lord Balfour was a guest of Margaret Greville's at Polesden Lacey and Charles Street between 1921 - 1928. He was a Scottish politician and the Prime Minister of Great Britain 1902 - 1905.
