Full description
A full-length portrait of a Charlotte, in period dress, wearing a large hat adorned with feathers. The original is housed in the Frick Collection, New York. In 1785 Charlotte Frances Bentinck married in Robert Shore Milnes, who, ten years later, became Governor of Martinique and in 1798 was named Lieutenant Governor of Lower Canada. Framed and sold by Mark White, 10 Davis St. Berkley Square.
