Full description
Theophila is standing half-length to the right, looking at the viewer. She is wearing a pale dress, with a scarf wrapped around her head: a cone-shaped basket is hanging from her arm, her hands are joined over her sash. The background is rocky. Theophila was the niece of Sir Joshua. This mezzotint was published, framed and sold by Thomas Agnew and Sons Ltd: first published 1 May 1873.
