Watercolour on paper, Girl with a Basket of Eggs by George Manson (Edinburgh 1850 - Lympstone 1876), signed and dated with monogram: 1873. Three-quarter length portrait of a young girl, sitting, turned to the left, gazing to the left, her hands on her lap, wearing a grey bonnet, a dark brown jacket edged with fur, and a checked skirt, beside on the left is a basket of eggs.
