Summary
A mahogany pole screen stand, English, probably early 20th century in 18th century style. Lacking screen and finial to top of pole. The slender pole set into a broadening mahogany shaft on three pierced and carved cabriole legs.

Date of acquisition not recorded; bequeathed by Margaret McEwan, The Hon. Mrs Ronald Greville (1863-1942) with Polesden Lacey, to the National Trust, in memory of her father, William McEwan (1827-1913) in 1942.
