Summary
A mahogany single bed frame, English, circa 1910. Comprising a headboard, footboard, two side rails and bolts. Both headboard and footboard quarter-veneered and with a decorative sunken oval. The feet tapering and square-section.

Date of acquisition not recorded; bequeathed by Margaret McEwan, The Hon. Mrs Ronald Greville (1863-1942) with Polesden Lacey, to the National Trust, in memory of her father, William McEwan (1827-1913) in 1942.
