Summary
An occasional table, French, circa 1890, Louis XV style, a serpentine top veneered with tulipwood and kingwood, inlaid with two sprays of vine leaves, above a drawer, on cabriole legs with foliate cast sabots.

Date of acquisition unknown; recorded in the king's bedroom when bequeathed by Margaret McEwan, The Hon. Mrs Ronald Greville (1863-1942) with Polesden Lacey, to the National Trust, in memory of her father, William McEwan (1827-1913).
