Summary
An ebonised frame containing a Certificate, paper, of Order of the White Elephant, written in Thai, from the office of King Prajadhipok, Rama VII of Siam (1893 - 1941), granted to William John Montagu Watson-Armstrong, 2nd Baron Armstrong of Bamburgh and Cragside (1892 - 1972), dated 11 September 1934 (C.E.), signed by Prince Narisara Nuwattiwon (1863 - 1947), with two stamps, one blue with gold leaf design, the other red. Provenance
Armstrong collection. Transferred by the Treasury to The National Trust in 1977 via the National Land Fund, aided by 3rd Baron Armstrong of Bamburgh and Cragside (1919 - 1987).
