Summary
A historic system comprising of a Thomas Parker Generator added by Drake and Gorham of London in 1895, 150V 70 Amps at 1300rpm. Cable also replaced and run in wood conduit to house. Thomas Parker Dynamo - the generation system was extended in 1895 by the addition of a Thomas Parker shunt wound No.8 dynamo rated at 70amps, 150volts at 1300rpm, installed by Drake and Gorham. It is thought that this unit was used to charge the batteries in the Battery House, situated in the Generation House of the Debdon Burnfoot Power House.
