Summary
One of a pair of silver presentation cups made by Munsey and Company Lt., Silversmiths, Cambridge. Hallmark Lion, leopard's head, P, and initials DM. Globular shaped with three vertical handles. Gifts from William J M Watson-Armstrong to his parents on their silver wedding anniversary and inscribed as such. CRA/S/127.1 is inscribed Mother and CRA/S/127.2 is inscribed Father.
Provenance
Armstrong collection. Transferred by the Treasury to The National Trust in 1977 via the National Land Fund, aided by 3rd Baron Armstrong of Bamburgh and Cragside (1919 - 1987).
