Summary
Music stand, lower half in cast iron (?) with moulded decoration of leaves and flowers on four feet with castors; fluted central column and brass stem ending in a 'ball and socket' joint to allow swivelling of the mahogany music rest and gilded metal adjustable frame above.
Provenance
Armstrong collection. Transferred by the Treasury to The National Trust in 1977 via the National Land Fund, aided by 3rd Baron Armstrong of Bamburgh and Cragside (1919 - 1987).
