Eight-day, painted dial longcase clock with gold flowers on arch and corners on white dial, date and second dials, matching brass hands, in veneered maple case with flat-topped head, decorated dentils and applied horizontal split balusters, inscribed on arch 'M.Young, Newcastle', circa 1850.
