Summary
One of four ebonised half D-ended credenza display cabinets with gilt ornament, each enclosed by four glazed doors, plate glass panels on sides, front and tops. Containing part of the shell collection. This cabinet contains the shells of land molluscs.
Provenance
Armstrong collection. Transferred by the Treasury to The National Trust in 1977 via the National Land Fund, aided by 3rd Baron Armstrong of Bamburgh and Cragside (1919 - 1987).
