Summary

'Palissy' large cup (member of the Royal Worcester group), decorated with a silvered rim and pictures of three hand guns, Christie Stirling c1755, London c1825 and Bailes London c1760.

Provenance

Armstrong collection. Transferred by the Treasury to The National Trust in 1977 via the National Land Fund, aided by 3rd Baron Armstrong of Bamburgh and Cragside (1919 - 1987).
