Summary

Institute of Archaeology 2008: Model. Bird with detached plasticine mount. No staining present. Stuart Blaylock 2008: (122309-16) Terracottas (from top shelf); 8 fragments; not Near Eastern, probably Central or South Asian/Indian. These are described in a letter date 18.ix.1936 from [Mary?] Macartney to MELM, describing a collection from the Takla Makan [desert], dating to around c. AD 600 [photocopied].
