Portrait miniature, photograph printed on ivory and hand coloured, Sir Charles Stewart Henry Vane-Tempest-Stewart, Viscount Castelreagh later 7th Marquess of Londonderry, MP (1878-1949). c.1905. Oval. Head and shoulders portrait of a man, turned slightly to the left, gazing at the spectator, in uniform of the Royal Horse Guards,, steel cuirass, gold braid aiguillettes, etc. Grey eyes, smooth fair hair and moustache, aged 25 to 30. Plain blue-grey background.
