Summary
Portrait miniature, watecolour painting on ivory, Frederick William Robert Stewart, Viscount Castlereagh, later 4th Marquess of Londonderry (1805-1872), British (English) School. c.1825-1830. Rectangular. Head and shoulders portrait of a young man turned slightly to the right, head turned to the left, gazing to the left, in a loose black coat and open-neck shirt. Pale blue eyes, fair hair and whiskers, pink complexion, aged between 20 and 25.

Gifted to the National Trust from Lady Mairi Bury (1921-2009), 1976.
