Summary
A beech sofa, British, late 19th/early 20th century, the upright back flanked by two out-turned armrests, on four turned and tapering legs mounted on later blocks with shepherd castors, the sofa upholstered in green cotton with a pink damask loose cover. The front right leg with white round label with handwriting reading '189'. The castors are by Archibald Kendrick & Sons Ltd who began manufacturing them in 1948.
