Summary
A mahogany and oak radiator-cover side table, British or Irish, circa 1930 With a rectangular tabletop, the frieze centred by a plain rectangular panel, the frieze to either side applied with a band of raised moulding and a shaped apron, the raised moulded band continuing on the sides of the table, on four turned baluster-shaped legs terminating in shaped feet, the legs joined to the front and sides by stretchers with moulded top edges, the inside of the frieze affixed with a red acrilan curtain. This radiator-cover side table is very similar to two pairs of side tables (NT 1656315.1 & .2) found in the 'Sebastopol' bedroom and (NT 1656124.1 & .2) in the 'Paris' bedroom at Mount Stewart.
