A walnut and walnut-veneered strong-box stand, European, late 19th century, supporting an oyster-veneered kingwood strong-box, Anglo-Dutch, last quarter of the 17th century (MT 1220648.1) Of four bine-turned legs joined an 'X'-shaped spiral-carved stretcher and on four castors.
