Japanese four case black ground lacquer inro, 19th century, with nashiji interior, decorated in fundame gold lacquer with a picnic set, jars and utensils and an ivory netsuke attached, carved as a two handled jar and wicker utensils, signed.
Provenance
On loan to the National Trust from Lady Mairi Bury (1921-2009), 1976, then accepted by HM Government in lieu of Inheritance Tax and allocated to the National Trust, 2013
