Summary
One of a pair of 19th century Italian oxidised silvered brass floor altar candlesticks with repousse enrichments, the urn shape tops on baluster columns and triangular bases terminating in three scroll feet, adapted electric, with imitation candles.
Provenance
On loan to the National Trust from Lady Mairi Bury (1921-2009), 1980, then accepted by HM Government in lieu of Inheritance Tax and allocated to the National Trust, 2013
