Summary
A pair of figured walnut side tables, British or Irish, of early Georgian style, each with a rectangular table top with reverse breakfront, with a single frieze drawer with shaped front, with brass bail handle and shaped backplate, on stepped and moulded base, on rounded and tapering legs terminating in pad feet, the legs with scroll carved hips.
Provenance
On loan to the National Trust from Lady Mairi Bury (1921-2009) 1976, then accepted by HM Government in lieu of Inheritance Tax and allocated to the National Trust, 2012.
