Summary

A set of 'Diamond Patent' folding pine steps, manufactured by the Drew, Clark & Co. Ladder Works, London or Leyton, first half 20th century, the ladder with two treads and slatted top platform, stamped 'DIAMOND' to the side of the one the tread supports.

Provenance

On loan to the National Trust from Lady Mairi Bury (1921-2009) 1976, then purchased by the National Trust from the estate of Lady Mairi Bury 2012.
