Summary
One of twelve plates, part of Bohemian hard-paste porcelain tea service, painted in the mid 18th century Chelsea style with exotic birds. White and gilt rims with green scale pattern diaper borders. Printed gold anchor mark. Early 20th century.
Provenance
On loan to the National Trust from Lady Mairi Bury (1921-2009) 1976, then accepted by HM Government in lieu of Inheritance Tax and allocated to the National Trust, 2013.
