White marble, Margaret Field, Mrs James Samuel Beale (1847-1936) by Francis Walter Sargant (1870-1960), 1931. A portrait bust of 'Maggie', the wife of Mr James Beale, original owners of Standen. Sargant was related by marriage to the Beale family, being cousin to Mr and Mrs James Beale's children, of which Maggie and Helen also owned Standen.
