Summary
Steel helmet-shaped coal scuttle having a hinged handle with a turned wooden grip. The hinges have a decorative trefoil-shaped attachment to the body. There is a turned wooden handle on scrolled steel supports at the back of the scuttle. It has a stepped base. From Benham and Sons, Ironmongers, London, 1894.
