Summary
A rosewood luggage or 'trunk' stand, supplied to James Beale by Collinson & Lock in 1896. The rectangular slatted top with moulded edge and plain friezes, standing on reeded square tapering legs with two moulded collars, headed with arched spandrels and terminating in spade feet. The pair to NT 1213966.
Provenance
On July 14th 1896 Collinson & Lock supplied 'Two rosewood trunk stands' at a cost of £10-0-0 to John Beale together with a bedroom suite and a dressing room suite.
