Summary
A pottery jardiniere on a round base with red lustre leaf and flower decoration on a cream ground. It has two handles, each in the shape of a scrolled leaf. Probably from the Pilkington Royal Lancastrian Pottery, 1875-1925.
Marks and inscriptions
marked 'IVORY' on the base (an impressed mark found on later 19th century earthernwares; the name refers to the type of body)
