Plan Chest, drawer 2 - Reference Sample. Reproduction of C18 damask pattern in peony-red on gold background. 1930's? On margin 'ONIERI Rs'. Mounted on card under acetate. Note - Pattern originates c.1900, probably from H. Scott Richards and Co.
Provenance
Part of the Bedingfeld Collection. The house was given to the National Trust in 1952 by Sybil, Lady Bedingfeld (1883-1985), her daughter Mrs Greathead, and her niece Violet Hartcup.
