Summary
Wallpaper. Flock wallpaper, cardinal red on cherry with a stamped gilt background . From Small Dining Room. Mounted on card under acetate. (V&A description). c.1841-1851 - Rococo arabesque, block printed in 2 shades of crimson flock on an embossed gilded ground (Allyson McDermott's description).
Provenance
Despite the Dining Room being part of the 1830's structural works, the paper seems later being similar in both design and techique to papers dating 1840-50.
