Summary
A mahogany single bed, English, circa 1930, made by Hypnos and retailed by Williams & Cox of Torquay, Devon. One of a pair. With higher arched headboard raised on square-section supports and lower footboard with rounded corners and cabriole legs with pad feet. Iron rails.
Provenance
Date of introduction to Greenway not recorded, but given to the National Trust by Mrs Rosalind Hicks (d. 2004), Anthony Hicks (d. 2005) and Mathew Prichard in 2006, and accepted in 2007.
