Summary
A silver-mounted leather blotter. Brown crocodile skin with front edges, top and bottom reinforced with decorative silver mounts. The central motif is the name 'Alice' inscribed in silver-lettered script and underlined, as a signature.
Provenance
Part of the Bedingfeld collection. Given to the National Trust in 1985 by Violet Hartcup, Lady Sybil Bedingfeld's niece.
