Summary
A mahogany fire screen, English, circa 1850 With a rectangular woolwork panel depicting three children feeding doves amid ruins and a distant landscape within a molded bead carved frame with scroll carved fretwork to the pediment and apron. The panel raised on a lobed turned column and cabriole legs terminating on scrolled feet
Provenance
Originally the property of Dorothy Beatrix Dewing of Fakenham. Given to the National Trust in 1986 by Mrs Eileen M Dewing.
