Summary
Wallpaper. Wallpaper of trompe l'oeil plasterwork design on red ground. Also fragments of earlier wallcoverings - white foliage on blue ground. And fragments of earlier wallpaper border - green foliage and red flowers on turquoise ground. Produced by Cowtan & Sons. 10 rolls were delivered for the Hall in June 1831.
Provenance
Part of the Bedingfeld Collection. The house was given to the National Trust in 1952 by Sybil, Lady Bedingfeld (1883-1985), her daughter Mrs Greathead, and her niece Violet Hartcup.
