Summary
Embossed and painted leather hangings, probably Flemish, c. 1700-20, decorated in the style of Jean Berain (1640-1711) and Daniel Marot (1661-1752) with bandwork, diaper pattern, flowers, acanthus, palm leaves and husks in gold and other colours against a light blue ground.
