A mahogany, crossbanded and boxwood-strung workbox on stand, English, circa 1810. The box with hinged lid and brass handles, the stand with ogee shaped aprons and square tapering splayed legs joined by a shaped X-stretcher. The box has a red-painted interior and contains Lady Rosse's sewing items.
