Summary

Dish: Large, wheel-thrown, stoneware, two-handled, lidded ‘Gwari’ casserole dish by Svend Bayer while at the Wenford Bridge Pottery, Cornwall, made between 1969 and 1973; dark brown and kaki glaze with incised decoration to exterior, dark brown glaze to interior, toasted unglazed inner rim to both casserole and lid; impressed personal and pottery marks to base of one handle.
