Summary
An eight sided Japanese lacquered games box base with a lower chamfered edge, decorated with scenes of Japanese life with buildings, people and foliage. Complete with an eight sided Japanese lacquered lid, domed with a flat top surface with a detailed picture of birds, trees water and buildings with several Japanese men and women. The edge has serpentine dragons on it.
