Summary
A boarded oak chest, English, probably constructed mid 19th century with some earlier elements. The associated plank lid held on large iron hinges above a front panel carved with four rosettes separated by trefoil lancets, the lower border of repeated trefoil motifs. Raised on later shaped bracket feet.
