An oak bed table or reading table, by Leveson & Sons, London, circa 1880. The top fitted with an adjustable reading slope and rest, underside fitted with iron mechanism to alter the angle, raised on a turned support joining a plinth base and castors. Leveson & Sons were established in 1849 and registered at Lawrence Street, London, WC. Manufacturers of baby carriages, bath chairs and invalid furniture.
